Payment & Cancellation Policies
REGULAR / INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS
All reservations at Ohana are prepaid. We request a 30% upfront payment to confirm all reservations. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana.
MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
The following charges will be applied according to the notification time for either changes or cancellations on a reservation:
- 60 to 30 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: USD 150 per room.
- 29 to 10 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana30% of the total reservation costs.
- 9 to 0 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: 100% of the total reservation costs.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR HOLIDAYS
When making a reservation for the period of the year defined as Holidays, the entire amount of the reservation costs will be requested in order to confirm it. This total must be paid within the dateline granted by our reservation agents.
For these dates, the charges for either change or cancellation are as follows:
- More than 90 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: USD 150 per room.
- 90 to 61 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: 30% of the total reservation costs.
- 60 to 0 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: 100% of the total reservation costs.
The period of the year defined as Holidays, in which these conditions will apply, are from December 22nd to February 15th.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
Just like regular/individual reservations, group reservations are prepaid. In these cases, we request a 50% upfront payment in order to confirm the reservation and the remaining balance must be paid 120 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana.
Ohana defines a group as any number of guests equal to or greater than 10 visitors.
MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
The following charges will be applied according to the notification time for either modification or cancellation of the reservation:
- Up to 151 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: USD 150 per room.
- 150 to 121 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: 50% of the total reservation costs.
- 120 to 91 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: 75% of the total reservation costs.
- 90 to 0 days prior to the arrival date at Ohana: 100% of the total reservation costs.
REFUND FEE
For returns and refunds, the transaction fee will be transferred according to the type of payment: 3% of the returned amount for credit card payments and USD 25 for wire transfer payments.
DISCLAIMER
Ohana Ltda. is not responsible and will not provide any reimbursement for missed travel services due to canceled or delayed flights, canceled or delayed third-party transportation services or any other circumstances beyond Ohana’s control or responsibility that may be considered “force majeure” events. This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations and / or delays as a result of weather conditions, road conditions, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, tidal waves, floods and general strikes.
PAYMENT METHODS
OUR RATES INCLUDE
- Flower necklace and complimentary welcome drink included.
- Buffet breakfast (includes seasonal fruits, eggs, natural juices, variety of breads and sweets). Horario 8:00 – 10:30 am.
- Use of barbecue area and relaxation areas.
- Free Wi-Fi in all facilities.
- Tourist assistance at reception.
- Parking.
- Luggage custody.
- Mineral water, coffee and ice available in the dining room.
- Children until 2 years old have no charge. Additional bed option available (from 3 years old).
- Transfer service to the city, hours 17:00 – 21:00. Prior reservation. Free of charge.
- Reception services and direct contact with partner companies: rent a car, restaurants, excursions, diving centers, etc.
- Room sanitization under International standards.
KEY INFORMATION FOR THE EASTER ISLAND TRAVELER
- Traveler information.

NOTES
CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE POLICIES
- A maximum of two additional beds per room are allowed for children between 3 and 11 years’ old who share a room with their parents.
- Children under 3 years old can share a room with their parents with no additional cost.
- A maximum of two children per adult is allowed.
OTHER STIPULATIONS
Since our installations do not allow us to provide the comfort and commodities needed by a domestic animal, we cannot accommodate pets in our facilities.
